The American Youth Circus Organization promotes the participation of youth in circus arts.

To that end AYCO:

• Produces the international AYCO Festival;
• Fosters communication among circus arts educators and organizations;
• Provides circus arts coaches with training procedures and guidelines for safety standards;
• Provides support for artistic performers wishing to pursue or expand their circus careers;
• Promotes youth circus activities through positive media coverage and a bi-annual newsletter;
• Provides circus related educational materials to schools and educators.
