Flying Trapeze (9am-12:30pm): $50

The  Juggling Launch Pad: Creative Control

PRESENTER: Jay Gilligan

Jay Gilligan is  the Professor of Manipulation at Sweden's National New Circus School in Stockholm. He teaches at every major circus school in the world,  including ENC @ Montreal and CNAC @ France. 22 years performing  experience in 19 countries. The Juggling Launch Pad will cover up to the mintue, cutting edge, contemporary and experimental juggling techniques collected from all over the globe, with a concentration on Northern European techniques. 
Additionally, traditional foundation building basics will be incorporated for a well rounded experience. This workshop will teach concepts and ideas through small, accessible tricks that anyone can instantly learn. Juggling will be looked at in 3 areas- the objects, the body, and rhythm.

PREREQUISITES FOR PARTICIPANTS: Students must have an interest to explore juggling, not be afraid to have fun, and have an open mind.  All technique levels are welcome. Since these ideas are new, beginners as well as professionals may follow the same class.
