The
2009 American Youth Circus Festival was the fifth
biennial
national
conference for the ever growing world-wide movement
of youth circus .
The festival included: Pre-Festival
Intensives
4 days of Workshops!
Performances by youth troupes from around the
continent

Fun filled social and networking
opportunities!!

during the same days,
The American Youth Circus Organization, in cooperation and support from
Cirque du Soleil, hosted a 4-day teacher training for coaches
working the in field of Social Circus. Two professionals from
Cirque du Soleil’s Social Circus Training Program provided
the training. The Social Circus Training Program is a world-wide
program launched in 2000 to promote international networking around
social circus teacher training and youth art intervention
initiatives.
